About 1 year ago several agents, a football coach and other persons involved in the Belgian football industry were arrested for alleged corruption, match fixing and money laundering.
VRT interviewed our CEO, Stijn Francis, and asked about the impact of this football scandal on the football industry in Belgium.
Stijn Francis acknowledges that people in football may now tend to be a bit more prudent. The problem is, however, that the culture of football did not change and that the same people are still in charge. Our CEO also confirmed that more regulations is not necessarily the right solution.
